Methods of Training

On-the-job Training

Mainly conducted by a Functional Manager or Expert Practitioner (Who Uniexcel brings in a paid basis) with high level of subject experience and who focus its method on the work being performed at the time.

Courses

Covered by Uniexcel in the event that is needed. Usually a Consultant leaves for a week for an intensive course abroad and returns with fresh understanding of an specific subject, which then applies to the project

Other types of courses are taken on a group basis such as PC software courses. This usually are taken at Uniexcel facilities or at a client facility, and generally are taken by groups of 10-15 consultants

Certificates

This are longer courses which form a Professional certification. This usually are taken on project after-hours when permitted, in a local University

Other types include the self-study certifications such as APICS, which are learned individually with some examination requirements

Self-Study

Uniexcel demands consultants to read about the subjects that most apply to the job being performed. Uniexcel posses a great variety of books, magazines, and articles that consultants may borrow from Uniexcel Library

In some cases it is expected for consultants to give lectures from the books they read, this is a way of training the team
